I think we have 3 options to vote on, so I will post the poll
1. Keep the Same
2. In-Season: 1y players dropped do not incur a drop penatly, 2y+ remain same
3. Add stipulation that QB/K added for bye week replacements are free drops(If this is put in place, QB/K bye week replacements would only be allowed to be signed to a 1y contract)

I wouldn't mind seeing the same rule as in cdfl where you get half the players salary back but you get stuck with paying half for the duration of the contract

Issue with the 1y free drop is an owner can bid a huge amount for 1 year and just drop for free when ever. There has to be some accountability. It happened all the time in a league I was in. It’s annoying.

Maybe have a penalty in place if the bid gets over $5 so people aren’t abusing the rule

It’s annoying. This was my biggest concern with that being the rule. A good number of teams had less than $10 during the season, but it still would lead to teams abusing the drop rule

Part of the game is managing the salary cap, without penalties, the 1 year free drop will be abused. I know I will abuse it if allowed.

I think the free drop rule for 1yr should only occur during offseason.

I still think we should discuss the rule being like the cdfl rule. I'd much prefer that. You're still penalized for contracts but you can atleast recoup half your investment if it doesn't go your way.
