A rule that has been suggested is doing something for players on IR that are out for a short period and players that are out for the season, in terms of some form of cap relief for players out for the season
1. Leave rule as is 2. Give a % of the cap space back to teams if a player is out for the season 3. Other

Rule is updated. Does this mean only players on season ending IR qualify for this designation, or does ANY player that hits IR qualify? I can imagine what the rule is, just asking for clarity...

Only players on season ending IR are eligible to get $ back, and teams must designate that on their initial post. If a player is not out for the season, teams do not get $ back from them going on IR (like those out for 3/4 weeks). If a player is not designated on posting as out for season, we will operate as they are coming back and update them as such
