With the system we are using, it is similar to 2 leagues I have been in. I don't want this to be set to high so guys feel like they can just spend whatever for a player, but it needs to be high enough so guys can actually own some good players
1. $75
2. $80
3. Other ideas?
For the limit on years, both have used 75 years as the cap which has been enough and I have only seen maybe a handful of teams get close or hit that mark, $ is definitely the bigger issue in this type of league

I think $75 and $80 are the best two options, but if someone wants to make another suggestion here, now is the time. If not we will vote on these two options when I get to making it a poll

I think $80 is the way to go.

I am ok with $80 as a cap, if the cap was at $75 it would make the re-signing of players to high dollar amounts for one year harder to do. Thus allowing more quality players to hit the unrestricted free agent market.

Can we bid 0 on a free agent? Or .5? Or would 1 be the minimum?

Can we bid 0 on a free agent? Or .5? Or would 1 be the minimum? $1 would be the minimum and all bids would be increments of $1. Only way we will get $.5 amounts on guys contracts is from extensions, and if someone drops a player that has an odd number $ contract that players drop would have a $.5 in it it

So based on these comments it seems the overall feeling here in the league is an $80 cap limit. If anyone has any argument, make it today or tomorrow I will put it in the rules that the salary cap is $80 and years cap is 75 years.

$80/80y Starting off paying out so much for the Inaugural Draft, then Rookie Draft, not to mention adding through FA and Trades. What about using a 80/80 Rule? Thoughts? I'll stick with my 80/80 Rule

I'll stick with my 80/80 Rule In canton, where there are 32 teams, there are maybe 3 teams that will break the 70 year mark this coming season. I understand with us at 24, a higher number of good players will be on everyone's rosters, but most teams in canton right now are down in the 30s and 40s for contract years. We can vote on this though
