Hey everyone, with the Rookie Draft finished, we can start discussing the things that were brought up during the draft. I will go back and find them, as I don't remember off the top of my head what they were.
Free Agency will open on Sunday, July 19th at 12 PM EST. I was going to open it on Saturday, but I will be busy all day Saturday and will not be able to keep an eye on things.
Just a reminder when bidding, you must have roster space, cap space, and years available to be able to place bids. You may not make a drop after bidding a player to be able to make a legal bid.
In bidding the highest bid will be the result of the $ and years multiplied, so a $2/3y bid = 6, the next bid must be 7 or higher, a bid of $3/2y does not beat the $2/3y bid
We will have 2 years of draft capital on our roster, so at some point this week, I will have all those picks added to teams rosters and they will be available to be used in trades.
PLEASE look over your rosters and check that they are correct, I will be doing that this week, but an extra set of eyes going over them doesn't hurt.
Looking forward to getting into the next phase of our offseason and inching closer to our first ever season!

You may want to bring up how to format Correctly. Saw a bunch of different ways during both drafts. It’s better to get this straightened up now and if you don’t it will continue to look like it did in the drafts. If roster managers don’t care then that’s different, but as someone who does roster transactions in Canton having things formatted correctly helps tremendously. Just my two cents
