If you all have any rule suggestions for the off-season please post them here in this thread and I will start a running list of them and once we get the off-season rolling we will discuss them and potentially put them to a vote!

One thing I would like to discuss is opening relocation. The league will be heading into year 5 and while we haven't had much ownership turnover there are some new names here. So either this off-season or starting next season after 5 years, I think we could open up the 8 teams not being used for owners to relocate their franchises to.
If it isn't something the league wants to do that is totally fine, just wanted to make the suggestion

I believe another thing that was brought up was moving back the rookie signing deadline day to closer to the season.
If I recall it was to move it to the day after final roster cut downs.

I like the idea of teams being able to "relocate" if they wanted!!
I do believe we talked about that as well, and I do like the idea of moving the rookie signings closer to the start of the regular season

I know this is late in the process, but had another idea floated to me by someone in the league.
So with us having RFA, the idea was floated to add comp picks to guys that get signed to other teams during RFA.
Basically it would be a tiered system where if a player reaches a certain $ amount they enter a comp pick level and the higher their $ goes the higher the round they would get attached to them.
Right now I am thinking if a player gets to $3 they would get a 3rd round comp, then of they reach $6 they would get a 2nd round comp.
I would need to look back at the first few years to see how many RFAs changed teams, because if it was just a straight up comp pick for each guy signed we might end up adding more than a round of picks and that would be the biggest draw back in my opinion on this thing.
I think a compromise here would be to make it a running tally across RFA so for each player a team signs a comp pick gets taken for each player they lose.
Obviously if you don't lose any RFAs but sign players you would get 0 comp picks, but would not lose any actual draft picks because you signed more than you lost.
I know this would be a pretty sizable shift in the way we do things, but it seemed like a solid idea and wanted to see what the league thought

I like the idea of adding the compensatory picks

I'm on board with compensatory picks for certain RFAs too - great idea.
