b. Initial 24 hour period is for teams to post interest
c. If multiple teams bid in the first 24 hours, the next 24 hour window is open for those teams to bid further on the player
4. After the bidding concludes the team that owns the right to the RFA has the right to sign the player for the final bid that was placed on the player during the bidding window
a. If the team with the rights to RFA decline to sign the player, the team that posted the highest bid wins the player
5. Any player in the RFA pool that does not get a bid during this window will be allowed to be re-signed by the team that holds the RFA rights to that player
6. RFA bidding has no $ limit, but is capped at 3 years
7. New bids must beat the highest bid in total $, ex. a $2/1y bid does not beat a $1/2y bid and a $2/3y bid does not beat a $6/1y bid, the new bid must be worth more money than the previous bid.
